N K Bagrodia Dwarka celebrates School Fest – Trishna

On 30 th April and 1 st May, N K Bagrodia Dwarka celebrated Trishna, their annual school festival in the form of an Inter- school competition, in which nearly 300 students from 15 schools participated. The participants exhibited their talent and creativity in various fields of education and other extra-curricular activities. The theme of Trishna is ‘If you can dream it you can do it'. The function was inaugurated by Gp. Capt. H.S.Sassan, Commanding Officer, 27 ED Air Force and the guests were welcomed by the Principal Dr.(Mrs) Rajee N. Kumar.

Various competitions were held during the two days, prominent among them were, Rhythmic Rhymes, Mime, Techno Canvas, Dec-o-Ceramic, Table Tennis, Debates, Math-o-Wizard, Quiz on French for beginners etc. The topic for the Class X English Debate was, ‘Yes, We Can!' – can the Gen-Y with this mantra bring in a change in the country? A perfect mix of talent, perseverance & application was evident in all the activities. The fest culminated with a short cultural programme. The chief guest, Shri Joginder Singh, Ex-Director of CBI summed up the proceedings with his comment that “Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration”. Prizes were distributed by the chairman of the school, Shri N K Bagrodia.
